Delvinia President to co-host interactive innovation session at Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA) National Conference

Toronto, March 6, 2007 – Adam Froman, president of Delvinia Interactive, today announced that he will co-host a session, “Online Communities Validating Customer Profiles,” at the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA) National Conference at Blue Mountain Resort, June 13-15, 2007. Entitled Our Changing Communities: Insight through Innovation, the conference provides a forum for leading research professionals to discuss innovative methodologies and new approaches to reaching changing communities and developing consumer relationships.

Adam Froman will co-present Online Communities Validating Customer Profiles, with Lisa Charters, Vice President, Director of Online Sales & Marketing for Random House of Canada Limited. The session will explore the impact of the Internet and social media on relationships between companies and customers. Participants will gain insight in leveraging online strategies and the digital customer experience to drive customers to online communities.

“This session will highlight the importance of the digital customer experience and using social media, online communities and research panels to engage, inform and transform avid readers into avid buyers,” said Adam Froman, session co-host and president, Delvinia Interactive.

The presentation is based on the program developed by Delvinia for Random House Canada last year. Delvinia created the Booklounge, an online community for avid readers that employed social media and marketing tactics to attract members,including e-mail, newsletters and podcasts on sites such as Youtube.com. The Booklounge also introduced the first research panel of its kind in the publishing industry, encouraging members to complete an online profile survey and join Random House of Canada’s online consumer research panel.
