Delvinia Interactive Vice-President named to two top Canadian Marketing Association appointments

TORONTO, December 19, 2006 - Delvinia Interactive vice-president Steve Mast has expanded his role with the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) with his appointment to two prestigious council positions. Effective January 2007, Steve will serve as vice-chair of the Integrated Marketing and Customer Experience Council and co-chair of the Digital Marketing Conference.

As vice-chair of Integrated Marketing and Customer Experience Council, Canadian Marketing Association, Steve will provide guidance on the integration of traditional and new marketing communication practices to ensure consistent, effective customer experiences. Steered by a chair and co-chair, the Integrated Marketing and Customer Experience Council provides development and collection of marketing intelligence while acting as a resource for members. The executive committee is made up of senior-level marketers from CMA member organizations, representing client and supplier businesses.

Steve’s two year term as co-chair of the Digital Marketing Conference, for the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) comes as the conference’s celebrates its ten-year anniversary. This two-day event highlights advances in digital marketing strategies to move marketers’ businesses forward. As committee co-chair, Steve is responsible for leading the committee of industry leaders and guiding discussions regarding conference topics, speakers, venue and sponsorship. Steve Mast will co-chair the 2007 conference with Louise Clements, Vice President, Consumer Publishing Websites, Rogers.

Steve brings a long history of industry leadership to these council positions. He has spoken at various industry and non-industry events, including developing and leading the Search Engine Marketing Demystified Seminar and is an active contributor to the CMA Canadian Marketing Blog. In addition the CMA, Steve is a member of the Association of Internet Marketing and Sales (AIMS) and the Interactive Advertising Bureau of Canada (IAB). Steve has been a judge for the CMA Awards since 2003 and the Canadian New Media Awards since 2004.
