Delvinia releases Canada’s first
Internet voting in practice report
Canada’s first study about Internet voting in practice was released
on February 2, 2004. The Town of Markham (www.markham.ca), Canada’s
high-tech capital is the first major municipality in Canada to pilot
Internet voting in order to evaluate voter interest and to prompt exploration
of issues raised by this alternative voting channel.
